Have you been considering rehab, but the idea of being away from your family and home causes you anxiety? Every year millions of Americans complete rehab and enter into recovery from addiction. Tens of millions of Americans are in recovery from substance use disorder, which is a chronic brain disease and not a moral failure or weakness of character. Drug Rehab That Allows You To Still Go To Work & School
If you have been struggling to decide to attend rehab because of family, work, or school obligations know that there are options to allow you to attend both rehab and your responsibilities. Inpatient rehab involves staying at a facility for the duration of rehab, and that option, while providing excellent results, is not always the best option for an individual. A major factor in your success at rehab, and your disease staying in remission, is an environment and treatment plan that you feel comfortable with. If you have childcare obligations or are the sole provider for your children staying in a treatment facility may not be feasible for you. Outpatient treatment is a good first step towards sobriety, or it can be utilized after a medical detox when a lengthy inpatient stay is not an option for you or your family. In an outpatient treatment plan, you can address the factors present that contribute to your addiction, and take part in meaningful therapy while still maintaining your work and family responsibilities.
Benefits of Outpatient Drug Rehab
Outpatient rehab contains many of the same beneficial therapies that inpatient rehab has, but with the benefit of flexibility around your schedule. Meetings with your treatment team can be scheduled before or after work or school. Therapy sessions can be scheduled at any time of the day, or into the evening as work or childcare permits. Except for court-mandated treatment, addiction therapy is voluntary and should meet your needs as it helps move you forward in your recovery. And you will experience recovery, the majority of people who receive treatment for substance use disorder remain in remission, over 22 million Americans. That’s great news, recovery is well within your reach at The Detox Center of LA. Our call center for Irvine benzo detox operates 24/7 and is ready to connect you with a change you may not have realized was possible.

How Long Does Outpatient Rehab in Irvine Last with The Detox Center of LA?
The length of time you choose to stay in rehab is completely up to you. All aspects of your therapy are in your control, different people progress through treatment at different speeds, which means there is no set time limit for outpatient rehab. Outpatient rehab was developed for people who want to feel comfortable in their daily responsibilities, but who don’t need daily therapy sessions. Continuing treatment in an outpatient rehab program is also an excellent way to prevent relapse for people beginning their path to recovery.
IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program)
IOP is a great way to balance the workload of recovery with your family and financial obligations. Many people cannot completely step away from those responsibilities to complete residential inpatient treatment, however they might need extra support. When undergoing IOP you will take place in multiple therapy sessions, both individual and group through the week, from two to five days depending on your program. You would also spend several hours per day with your primary therapist, and group, but will still keep work and school in mind when scheduling. IOP is a good option for those with moderate substance use disorder who do not need 24 hour medical supervision in a detox setting.
PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program)
A PHP will be similar to IOP, but have even more therapy sessions, perhaps every day of the week. When discussing treatment programs with your case manager you will work together to determine the best schedule for you, there is no one size fits all approach to your recovery. Patients participating in PHP can expect the treatment to last between 8 to 12 week, and is an excellent choice also for those exiting an inpatient rehab program, as they would receive more care than someone in typical outpatient rehab.
Which Outpatient Treatment, IOP or PHP Is Right For Me?
Your options for treatment at the Detox Center of LA are numerous, and that may feel overwhelming. Fortunately, your case manager will be there to walk you through the process, and help you determine which treatment program options fit best with your life. Your case manager will also collaborate with you to build the right aftercare program for your needs, and help you select the therapies that are right for you.
